Sacramento Bee: In a brief letter e-mailed Tuesday to those on the guest list, Johnson let it be known that he is postponing his Labor Day wedding to Michelle Rhee, chancellor of the Washington, D.C., public schools. They had planned an afternoon ceremony Sept. 4 at St. John's Lutheran Church in midtown, followed by "an evening of dining and dancing" at Tsakopoulos' home.
But Johnson said in the e-mail and in a media statement that the couple "underestimated the intensity of interest in the wedding" and that it had spun out of control into an event they didn't intend.
They will get married later in a private ceremony before only family and close friends. The date and location will remain under wraps
