Sacramento Bee: The push to reintroduce automobiles on the K Street Mall took a step forward Tuesday night, when the City Council agreed to set aside roughly $2.7 million for the design and construction of the project.
As a result, K Street between Eighth and 12th streets could be opened to traffic as early as next year.
