On this glorious Easter in Sacramento, allow me to wish our entire community the happiest of holidays and offer thanks for the amazing resolve of our residents.

Easter is Resurrection Sunday. “Resurrection” is the perfect word to describe the remarkable events that have taken place in Sacramento over the last 12 days with regards to our Kings.

These have been times to remember. The unity of our community has allowed the true spirit of Sacramento to come back from certain demise regarding the Kings.

Even when it looked like the deck was stacked against us and there was very little chance of keeping the Kings, our community didn’t give up.

When I called the way the potential relocation was playing out a “slow death,” I received hundreds of phone calls and emails, with people encouraging me to keep fighting.

So, with the support of our entire community, we fought. Sacramento doesn’t quit. We’ve survived floods and fires and plenty more. It's in our nature to keep fighting.

When members of our business community learned the NBA owners were skeptical of corporate support for pro basketball in Sacramento, the business leaders stepped up with huge new commitments of support – more than $9 million worth without hesitation.

Amazingly enough, the support is still rolling in, even this weekend.

When the NBA came to Sacramento to see the support first hand, the region stepped up like never before – from everyday residents to leaders and opinion-makers, all dressed in purple.

The NBA fact-finders – a franchise owner from Oklahoma City and two attorneys from New York – were visibly amazed by the support they found in Sacramento.

The NBA didn’t expect that. They hadn’t seen anything like it before.

That’s the fighting spirit that makes Sacramento unique.

Today, we are hopeful that we will soon be celebrating our resurrection as an NBA city. We're not there yet -- but we're close.

We have much to be grateful for on this Resurrection Sunday. All you have to do is believe -- I do.

Happy Easter!

The Dial is engraved with "IWC Schaffhausen, Switzerland", but this world-famous factory was located a rural town in the Rhine, and many people are puzzled. As the factoty away from the famous swiss watchmaking center and the name unlike the name of swiss company, it makes people curious about their origins. An American youth from the Boston-Florentine Ariosto Jones, is a pioneering, famous watchmaker. In the boat across the Atlantic, he already has a perfect plan in his mind. Thank you, Mayor Johnson. Without your commitment to the city of Sacramento and us - the loyal Kings fans - along with the works of people like Carmichael Dave and others, none of this would have been possible. You have inspired young and old alike with your passion and commitment and unwillingness to simply give up. Happy Easter.

I want to personally thank you for making the unthinkable happen. I, like many others, believed the Kings were long gone and you really pushed the envelope. Guys like You, Carmichael Dave, Kevin Fippin, Mike Tavares, Jarrad Hicks, and many others in our community really stepped up and reassured us non-believers that the fight was not over. I am truly proud of our community and I look forward to that next step of cementing the Kings in Sacramento.
