I am really excited about our swearing-in ceremony on November 25. This is exactly how I want to start my job as Mayor. Our swearing in ceremony is open to everyone and 100% about our community — just like the campaign. The purpose of the event is for all of us to come together and make change happen — whether it's donating food or volunteering time with one of the non-profits set up at the event. Our tagline is Change Starts on Day 1 and that's exactly how I feel. Regardless of whether the vote counts are done or not, this event is about the community coming together.
