Your turn is coming.

After 18 months of public debate and discussion, our city is closer than ever to letting you, the voters, bring historic change to City Hall.

As you know, I have believed since my first days on the mayoral campaign that City Hall is broken and needs reform. With all of the problems our city faces, we need a government that is up to the challenge. That means leaders who are accountable, forward-looking and solution-oriented. Leaders who put the voters first and operate in an efficient, open and transparent manner.

We can’t create this environment without reforming how City Hall does business. That means changing a city charter that is out of date, out of touch, and out of order.
We are getting close.  Last week, I released the “Accountability Plan of 2010,” a new reform proposal that you can download here.

The plan draws ideas from all forums and stakeholders who have participated in this discussion.  Please read the plan, and take a moment to tell me what you think. If you support the plan, please add your name to a growing coalition of Sacramentans in support of change.

Today, the Sacramento Bee provided its perspective on the plan.  They agree that it’s time for you, the voters, to be heard.

On June 15, 2010, my Council colleagues and I will discuss the proposal.  I’m confident that working together, we will place the Accountability Plan on the November 2010 ballot.

We are closing in on a historic opportunity to chart a new course for Sacramento.  It's your turn to weigh in.

Some people refuse to stand on this planet. Moving, changing, development, adaptation, these are the motivation to continue to move forward. They abandoned the trivialization of the concept of the secular and they tend to be perfected with a new concept. Whatever can't become the excuse.Victory, defeat, fragile and sometimes the power savings - these must be gone through and feel in our life like a game, even though we see the signs that may become your indispensable information with peripheral vision. For such people, there is no end, but, there is only the next starting line, while the middle distance is the dust left behind their earlier tracks. These are TAG Heuer values. In addition, they represent a lifestyle. This way of life perfectly embodies TAG Heuer Aquaracer series and its distinctive design. The perfect innovation and breakthroug has gone far beyond the norms of the watch craft process. This is the way of life from the Australian F1 driver Mark Webber and Red Bull Racing.
