As many of you know, Erin Lehane, who was my campaign manager for the primary, is due with her first child any day now. I'm extremely excited to have Steve on board. He is taking a leave from his post as the Assistant Chief of Staff to Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, to take this position on the team until November. The experience and knowledge he has in the political arena is unparalleled. He shares in my belief that Sacramento must be a city that works for everyone and has the skills to take our general election campaign to the next level. I'm looking forward to working with Steve and the rest of the team as we crank things up to high gear in the coming weeks.
