• Accelerate progress on key infrastructure projects like the intermodal facility and high-speed rail
• Review and simplify the permit process for businesses
• Overhaul tourism and film marketing efforts
• Minimize impact of mortgage crisis on homeowners and neighborhoods
• Incent businesses and homeowners to meet LEED standards for green buildings
• Promote development of “clean tech” and “green tech” industries
• Transition city fleet to more hybrid/low-emission vehicles
• Promote energy efficiency and alternative energy initiatives
